Books have always been a major part of my life. I clearly remember the pleasure of curling up with a good book in a comfortable seat, and then reading for hours, totally lost in a different world. I also remember the joy of going to a bookshop, the smell of books filling my nose, the fun in exploring the bookshelves to find new books to read, but then the disappointment of only being able to pick out a few to take home. Then, at home, the dilemma of deciding which book to read first.
That's why it was so important to me when my first book, "Dancing in the Rain", was published. Not only is it an extra addition to my bookshelves, but it may also help others who read it – whether they have multiple sclerosis, know someone who has multiple sclerosis or are just curious.
